M-City (PO) made a short visit to Stavanger to make a commisioned work for the lobby of the new building of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. The intricate technical details and the theme from the Norwegian fairytale of the three billy goats on their way to the green meadows fit perfectly to the wall. The history of the Norwegian oil industry is a fairytale too, how a poor country made its way to the green meadows (or should I say the black oilfields?)
