FAME part 4

In the monastery of Grottaglie. This is a maze, a museum, a treasure chest, a theme park, an adventure. This building complex was built as a monastery, became later a retirement home and then abandoned. Looters and vandals have destroyed much of the interior, but the walls and floors are sturdy. During every FAME streetart festival the artists are invited to decorate wherever they wanted in the building.

The heart of the complex is the chapel. The dimly lit room consist of altars decorated by different artists, and the altar wall beautifully transformed by Swoon. Welcome to a virtual tour of the monastery:
