Photo portraits of squatters
A wonderful series of photos depicting people living in squats in London. The colours are bright, and the light settings are like a modern version of Vermeer's everyday portraits. A beautiful exhibition that might as well be set in a silent gallery as in the busy foyer of Rogaland Theatre. Even if these "unknown persons" may be considered outlaws and unwanted by the landlords and the municipality, Hunter presents them as human beings, enjoying the beauty of life.
