Cloud 9 + Political song for Jessica Simpson to sing
The young and aspiring artist Ida Ekblad is filling all the halls and rooms of the first floor at the Museum of Contemporary Art with her works. Her is her legendary large-size poster of Jessica Simpson, minus the text of the commercial she was original part of, but added a refreshing (but rather used) piece of chewing gum on her eye. And there are other works containing several different found garbage materials. And some abstract paintings. But the real highlight is the large installation filling the whole of the golden hall: Supermarket trolleys filled with heavy garbage material, and words of poems carved into their rubber wheels. The wheels were soaked in paint and rolled over canvases, displaying the words in improvisational patterns. All made here in this building.
