Streetart exhibition in the urban landscape
Usually Nuart has an exhibition part and a public part, also this year. Stavanger got several additions to the urban gallery also this year. It is all about discovering your town, discovering art, enjoying the surprises, and amaze at the skill of the top class of urban artists. Here is a complete overview of this year's public works:
Ron English
Three-eared and three-eyed alien rabbits have invaded Stavanger. Even their creator is there, a selfportrait of the artist with three eyes and paintbrush.
Optical illusions are fun additions to the street.

Mobstr
Instantly understanding what is the main feature of Stavanger, Mobstr headed out to do his piece. The irony is that he needed dry weather for this. We got one more raincloud, as if there was not enough already. But at least this is a funny one.
Mobstr is the master of saying something without saying something.
Niels Shoe Meulman
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaart. Or maybe nuuuuuuuuuart? Text can be art, especially if it is made by Shoe.
loose change, small change, exact change, minor change. What has changed a lot through the last years is this building and backyard, a former bank and money storage, now a cultural office building.
Sickboy
A house on the house made by Sickboy. His characteristic six-eyed heart is there, along with text and whimsical details.
Eine
"I want love to grab a hold of me and bite me, walk right up and fight me, leave me dying on the ground" - lyrics from "Love Interruption" by Jack White, made immortal by Eine in the busiest street downtown Stavanger.
Aakash Nihalani
Anywhere is a good spot for optical illusions in tape.
A great temporary improvement to a rather dull wall.
Dolk
A story of impossible love, technology and lonelyness on a cement factory. This is the still picture drive-in cinema for all the truckdrivers filling cement in their trucks.
HowNosm
And a colorful addition to a quiet area by the HowNosm twins, with a drunk fisherman, pollution and a dead tree.
