Videos and installations about non-places

This exhibition is about all those non-places, places not existing in time, space of conciousness. The places that are forgotten, the spaces that are hidden, the spaces that have ceased to exist, the spaces that you pass by dayly but never pay attention to.

These are videos of moulds from a former ceramic factory. The items that once were used again and again in production are now floating in space.

A revolving sculpture, like a radar or antenna, photo and text documentation. This seems to be about the process of finding a proper name for the first proton collider at CERN - the Proton Synchrotron.

Bull.Miletic: Heaven Can Wait
In this massive installation a myriad of projectors show footage from the view of revolving restaurants. I try to recognise some of the views, but all is mixed into one large conglomerate view, creating a view existing only exactly at that moment.

In a space seemingly forgotten and hidden, a pressure training bunker, with pools and training gears for the future divers.

Documentation of spots where everybody pass but nobody stay. Here some random crossing at night time. Cars are passing, even some voices are heard in the background, but nobody actually stays at this crossing.

Another movie from the same duo, here a spot there are plenty of in every town, an area where people stay for a moment while waiting for the bus or for their friend, but never actually stay longer than needed. Even the shop doors are closed at this spot.

Wonderful surprises inside, outside and around the Kinokino building, using what appears to be found objects from the building: A landscape painting, aluminium foil, dust filter, a letter stating that a painting has been lost. Some works are well hidden, or rather not exposed, it becomes a treasure hunt to find them.
