Abstract watercolors/drawings
Earlier I have seen Annette Bryne paint natural, colorful round stones. The stones are still very present in these paintings, but more abstract. The strongness and stability of the stones are there, but they are at the same time unstable and fragile. The colors add a hint of sensuality, a layer of thin silk. There is a tension between the mild and improvised of the watercolors versus the strong and planned structure of the ink.
