Paintings, drawings
In detailed drawings the artist has explored not only every feather of a bird, but also every grain in a piece of dirt or every leaf of a plant. This detailness is also found in his paintings, of windows, of people, and in my favourites, landscape paintings: On large canvases Sørensen has painted a hand holding a piece of paper. On the paper is written a description of a landscape. The detail of each letter and each detail of the described landscape makes me wonder if a painting of the visual landscape would actually be the easier option.
