Sandnes kunstforening/kinokino
Group exhibition of artworks limited to 50x50x50cm
The artist studio collective at Stasjon K has got the whole gallery at Kinokino, in the same building, to exhibit. The topic of the exhibition is the limit of 50x50x50, which most have taken literally, but also some virtually. This is a great opportunity to see the works of the largest artist community in Sandnes, and also a great opportunity to visit Kinokino, which is threatened by budget cuts.
Specially worth mentioning are the documentations of different stages of Nils-Thomas Økland's sculpture, now presented in a new form meeting the 50x50x50 limits. And the wonderful project where Mona Høie knits a rope to connect to her faraway sister, ready to present the sister's ultimate object of desire, the Smørbukk caramel. Here are also mystic shadow paintings, impossible sculptures, drawings, paintings and jewellery in a new setting.
