It used to cover the wall of all exhibition halls at Kunsthall Stavanger, now only the four smaller halls. Nicolas Party was inspired by the landscape paintings by classic Stavanger painter Lars Hertervig, and painted not only his own version of the landscape, but went on to rearrange the walls as well.
