The artistic results of one year at Rogaland art school
Parallell to the graduating students' exhibition at Stavanger Kunstforening, the first grades' at Rogaland art school have their own exhibition at Rogaland Kunstsenter. It is a great pleasure to see what is boiling among the upcoming local artists. I might guess who will develop their skills even further and who will turn to something else, but that would be pure guessing, and I would probably be wrong. Anyway, these are names to look out for in the future.
It is hard not to miss the gigantic fallos straight in your face as you enter the room, and it adds to the fun to discover the miniature men besides it. The simple but sympathethic portraits on glass are touching, as also are the multiple self portrait photos. And the fun mess in the streetart corner is entertaining, after all I am a streetart enthusiast, hoping these girls will soon make their marks in the streets.
